Collegiate Society of Interior Designers (CSID)
CSID, the Collegiate Society of Interior Designers, is a student-led organization encompassing the professional organizations ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and NEWH (Network of Executive Women in Hospitality). Focused on helping interior design students, the organization hosts lunch-and-learns, skill workshops, and community service events to aid students in their studies and prepare them for the workforce.

Studio learning is a unique experience, and the Mississippi State University Department of Interior Design provides a supportive environment for personal growth and professional development.
One big advantage of studio learning is it allows for more students to have more one-on-one time with professors.
Interior Design Scholarships
Application Process
To be eligible for interior design scholarships at Mississippi State University, students must fill out the general scholarship application by the appropriate deadline.
Interior Design Internships
As a component of the curriculum, interior design students complete a three-month internship. The internship occurs in the summer following their third- or fourth-year in the program.
2019 Barefield Workplace Solutions Steelcase Project winners announced
The goal of the project, sponsored by Barefield Workplace Solutions in Jackson, is to increase proficiency in planning and designing large-scale commercial interiors.
